New Financial Information for Students
PAYING YOUR BILL
You may choose to pay your tuition charges online via your E-SIMS account using MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Please be aware that, when using your credit card, a non-refundable convenience fee of 2.65% will be charged to your account in addition to your tuition and fees. Also, please be aware that only checks, cash, debit cards and money orders will be accepted at the Bursar’s window. Only checks and money orders will be accepted by mail. You can only use your credit card when paying your bill on line through eSIMS.
Credit card payments will only be accepted online and are not accepted by mail or at the Bursar’s window.
Of course, you have many other options for paying your bill. You may use:
• E-check payment. Similar to a debit card, e-check electronically debits your checking or savings account. E-check payments may be made via your eSIMS account.
• Tuition Payment Plan (Not available for Summer and Winter Sessions). Baruch College continues to provide a tuition payment plan option by offering an interest free payment plan via the TuitionPay plan. Visit www.tuitionpay.com/cuny for more information.
• Tuition Deferment(Not available for Summer and Winter Sessions). During registration, students can request a partial deferment (up to 50%) of their tuition charges. You can apply for a deferment in the Lobby of 151 E. 25th Street (Newman Library) building.
• Low-Interest Federal Loans. Students may apply for federal loans on line by filing the Federal Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA). It takes 2-4 weeks to process. Review application requirements and complete a loan application by visiting the Financial Aid website at www.baruch.cuny.edu/financialaid.
