Bryant T. Hayes, M.A., Ph.D. (cand.), has taught at Baruch College of The City University of New York for thirty years. Belonging to the University's Asian -- Asian-American Research Institute, he has a special reputation among Baruch's Asian community (the largest Asian student population in The City University of New York) for his expertise in the needs of Asian students studying English. CUNY is the USA's second largest university. He has participated in programs linking high school juniors with 'master teachers' from Baruch. He has taught courses linking English and History faculty members. Several chairmen of Baruch's English department have asked him to introduce new programs and courses. He has visited both Japan and China. Since 2002 he has been American Director of The Najing Jingling Institute of Translation and in 2004 introduces two texts he has written for NJIT's programs.
