Denise Patrick is an accomplished leadership communication strategist and coach who strives to teach, lead and inspire people to enhance their leadership communication, creativity, critical thinking and collaboration skills. Denise embraces Aristotle’s words, “educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all.”

For more than 20 years, Ms. Patrick has facilitated strategic planning sessions, staff retreats and leadership and communication workshops for private and non-profit organizations, as well as city agencies. Some of her current and former clients include the Workforce Professionals Training Institute, INROADS, Baruch College, New York Life, Booz Allen Hamilton, JP Morgan, Astoria Generating Company, NYC Department of Transportation, NYC Department of Buildings and the NYC Office of Emergency Management.

Ms. Patrick is a lecturer at Baruch College where she teaches undergraduate courses in leadership, and executive communication. In addition, she teaches in Baruch’s Executive MBA and Executive MPA programs. She is the newly appointed Director of the Basic Course in Communication Studies. Prior to joining the faculty at Baruch, she was an instructor at Temple University, and the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Patrick holds a B.A. in Corporate Communication from the City University of New York, Baruch College and a M.A. in Rhetoric & Communication from Temple University.
