Welcome to the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences Website.

A redesign of this site was launched in June 2008, with its official launch on August 1, 2008. On an ongoing basis, we will continue to refine the navigation and content on the site with input from Baruch faculty, staff, and students, who are encouraged to look at the site and provide feedback.

In the Spring of 2007, staff at the Weissman School began the work of the redesign with the firm Thinkso Creative. There were a variety of goals as we began the process of the redesign. We set out to improve the organization and navigation while elevating the overall look and feel of the site. We were looking for more visual consistency across the department and faculty pages with some additional multi-media and interactive functionality. We also needed a venue to publicize the news and events both from the Performing Arts Center and from each of our academic departments.

We are grateful for the early development work from the steering committee: Patrick Ackerman; Carol Abrams; Ben Rohdin; Barbara Wells; Zoe Sheehan Saldana; John Wahlert; and Michael Nix. In the process of developing the concept for the website, we tapped into ideas about the function and content from our faculty and staff.
