Solutions Across Borders

Solutions Across Borders aims to equip students with the tools to create change in an interconnected world. Our approach is tripartite. We engage in weekly discussions to explore solutions to cross-border dilemmas. We create school-wide initiatives to increase awareness among the Baruch community. And we offer off-campus volunteer opportunities, to build relationships with leaders and experts in global fields. See the brochure.

Solutions Across Borders was honored by the Undergraduate Student Government as the Exceptional New Club 2008-2009. SAB achievements in our first year include "Politics and Media in the Age of Globalization," a pre-election panel hosted in November; "Africa Day," a fundraiser for mosquito nets for which we teamed up with NABA, WBMB, the Weissman Center for International Business, and ZABC; and the establishment of a service program with Adakum school and orphanage in Ghana.

We are grateful for this recognition for our efforts and will continue to serve the Baruch community with devotion.
