The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) has just announced the recipients of its annual fellowship grants, and Weissman Professor Zoë Sheehan Saldaña, from the Department of Fine and Performing Arts, was among the 134 artists recognized for excellence in their given disciplines. The grants are intended for unrestricted use.
Past recipients include subsequent winners of the Pulitzer Prize, the Tony Award, the Academy Award, Guggenheim Fellowships, MacArthur Fellowships, and many other honors.
“It's a pretty competitive award,” said Sheehan Saldaña, who was recognized in the "Interdisciplinary Work" category.
