Attend an engaging and thought-provoking Teach-in on Haiti. We will be discussing Haiti-its history, politics, culture and its portrayal in the media. Engage in active dialogue with Baruch faculty and students on the US involvement in Haiti politics.
Dr. Ted Henken, Chair of the Department of Black and Hispanic studies will moderate a discussion in conjunction with esteemed faculty, students and historians on the politics, culture and history that is Haiti. The Teach-in will culminate with a call for action on ways that we as a community can make a difference.
