All submissions should be sent as MS Word (.doc or .docx) documents to imagazine@baruch.cuny.edu. Please include your last name and the word “Submission” in the subject line. Also, please include a brief message introducing your work and yourself to our staff. See the following for specific genre requirements.

Student Essays: Please send up to three essays that demonstrate strong thinking, solid technical writing, good style, and that are of cultural or intellectual interest to students and faculty at Baruch. Professors may also nominate student work and will be asked to provide a brief statement about its merits.

Poetry: Send up to five poems, one per page.

Fiction: Send us stories up to 5,000 words.

Non-Fiction: We would like to see a variety of different forms, including humor, memoir, researched journalism, and more. Pieces should be no longer than 5,000 words.

Art/Photo/Short Film: We’d love to include a gallery in each issue. Please send us up to five images or two short films (digital only, youtube videos) with a description of your format and statement about your work.
