Violetta Ekpe is 26 years old and lives in Brooklyn. She is a graduating senior with a major in Finance and a minor in English. She writes short stories as well as poetry, and is in the process of wrapping up a full length fiction manuscript. She spends her time reading, revisiting museums, and loving art in all its forms. This fall, she intends to pursue graduate work to obtain an MFA in Creative Writing and finally come to terms that she was meant to be a writer, not a stock broker.
