The Writing Center is open Mondays from noon-8pm; Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10am-8pm; Fridays from 10am-2pm; and Saturdays from 11am-3 pm. We are staffed by professional consultants who are college-level writing instructors with strong tutoring, composition, and ESL experience.

Consultants work one-to-one with students during 60-minute sessions. The goal of each session is to strengthen good writing and language skills in the context of a writing assignment. We do this by identifying strengths and weaknesses and demonstrating concrete strategies student writers may use.

While we do not proofread or edit papers, we do show students how they can. We will not tell students what to write.
