Workshops and Seminars

Monday, July 27, 5:30pm | Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity

Special Summer Program on Proxy Reform

The SEC has proposed a major reform to proxy access rules related to dissident shareholders. In order to educate its members on this important issue, the NIRI-NY chapter and the Robert Zicklin Center for Corporate Integrity are calling a special summer session on proxy reform, involving leaders from several major industry associations whose members are impacted by both recent and proposed new rules.

The program will cover both recent reform and the proposed changes. Discussion will include how these changes will impact the role of the investor relations professional and what steps you should consider for the future. The panel will share their insights as to the position that each organization is taking with regard to reform, and the concept of piecemeal change versus a complete review and overhaul of the proxy system.
