Optional (but Recommended) "Taxes 101" Session for New Volunteers
This optional (but highly recommended) mini-training was held on Saturday, November 22nd. It is
a brief introduction to basics of taxation to improve your general understanding, help pass the Pre-Test, and
decrease your stress levels in January trainings. If you missed the training, you can still download training materials:
Mandatory 1-day Training + Post-Test for Returning Volunteers
If you are a returning volunteer (you took part in VITA 2008 and you are listed either as a
volunteer or
shift manager)
and you do not want to come to the entire 3-day training in January,
then you can come in on Saturday, January 17th for a 1-day training designed for returning volunteers.
You are still required to pass the Post-Test.
