Weissman School for Arts and Science
The Weissman School of Arts and Sciences provides a broad-based arts and sciences education to Baruch undergraduates. With courses in more than 40 areas of study, students are offered a variety of majors and minors, as well as a chance to build their own program.
By studying classic texts and great philosophers and historians, you develop intellectual and ethical judgment, and expand your cultural and societal horizons so that you are prepared to navigate our rapidly changing society. You will become actively engaged in becoming a world citizen – the true meaning of the word “cosmopolitan”.
A liberal arts and sciences education is timeless. Critical thinking and analysis, excellence in writing and speaking, and the ability to advocate and argue with passion and skill will never go out of fashion. They will be invaluable skills to have, whatever path you choose after Baruch College.
