Joey Liu
Major: Accounting, Internal Auditing Concentration

Joey came to the United States from China in 1998 and spoke only a few words of English.  Now he has no detectable accent and excels in all of his classes.  He is a tutor for the SEEK Program and a member of Chi Alpha Epsilon.

Julia Monegro
Major: Finance

Julia is the Vice President of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA).  She was one of the 104 students nationwide selected for Management Leadership of Tomorrow (MLT) in 2006.

Mark Smiley
Mayor: Biology

Mark is pre-med with a GPA of 3.99.  After medical school, he plans to give back to the community that raised him, working for an inner-city hospital that serves the disadvantaged.  Mark's mother and brother will also receive degrees from CUNY this year.
