MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS
Baruch College merit and need-based scholarships are awarded to entering freshman
who have shown a high level of academic performance and potential. Scholarships
are awarded based on financial need and other criteria such as high school attended,
special skills or abilities. For entering freshman and transfer students, information
is collected from their admissions and scholarship applications and used to determine
eligibility for most scholarships administered by Baruch. Eligibility is based
upon their high school GPA, as reported on their admissions application, SAT
(or ACT) scores as well as the depth and breadth of their admissions application.
