Who is eligible: Women who are not U.S. Citizens or permanent residents, whose credentials demonstrate academic excellence and leadership ability, who demonstrate a prior commitment to improving the lives of women and girls through civic, community or professional work, whose research demonstrates a continued interest in the advancement of women and who can verify that there is a definite position to which they will return to in their home countries; applicants must hold a B.A. or its equivalent

Who is eligible: Recent college graduates who are interested in learning about the not-for-profit sector and creative responses to homelessness and poverty

William Randolph Hearst Endowed Scholarship for Minority Students
Who is eligible: Graduate and undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens with outstanding research skills; a background in social sciences or humanities, excellent writing and communication skills, and demonstrated financial need; the student must be able to intern for 10-12 weeks full-time during the summer at the Washington, DC, office of the Aspen Institute; all travel and housing costs must be covered by the student
