The Resident Assistant (RA) is a full-time student at Baruch who lives on a floor in the Baruch Residence Hall and serves as a role model, peer counselor, resource and referral person, advocate, policy enforcer, programmer and leader for residents of the assigned floor(s). Under the supervision of the Residence Life Coordinator, RAs assist in the development of community, engage students with various programming, and report inappropriate behavior. RAs provide support in emergencies and times of personal stress.
Residence Hall Council
The Residence Hall Council (RHC) is devoted to improving experiences in Baruch's residence hall while hosting various events to foster community and serving as the liaison between residents, Residence Life and Student Life. RHC offers a place where students residing in Baruch’s residence hall can come together outside of typical school hours and locations to network and socialize through means of various events. This organization kindles residential life and makes the residence hall a more enjoyable environment.
