Mission Statement
Committed to providing consistent, high quality health services
to Baruch students in a culturally sensitive and confidential
environment.
Healthy students for Life!
About Us
The Baruch College Student Health Care Center provides students
with a full range of clinical health services, including initial
diagnosis and treatment for a broad spectrum of illnesses and
injuries. When necessary, referrals will be made. Gynecological
care, such as pap smears and pregnancy testing, is available
as are immunizations and testing for sexually transmitted diseases.
Most of these services are free, although lab and some other
services may require a small fee (pricing available at Health
Center). Over-the-counter drugs are provided free. The center
is staffed with fully licensed medical staff, usually a nurse
practitioner, an MD, or physician’s assistant. Medical
records are strictly confidential. Services are available to
students with a valid Baruch I.D.
Baruch 's Immunization Policy
New York State Law requires all college students to document
their immunization against certain diseases. Students who do
not provide proper documentation will not be allowed to register
for classes. Please go to the Admissions site
for more information, as well as to download the Immunization
Record form.
