WELCOME TO THE eSAFEZONE
Dare to Engage Working Group Mission Statement:
The Dare to Engage Working Group is dedicated to ensuring that Baruch College provides a welcoming, safe and supportive environment for its lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and allied (LGBTQIA) students, faculty and staff. We believe that only by creating an open and inclusive environment can the Baruch community grow into an accepting campus, committed to the safety and development of its members in the areas of sexual orientation and gender identity expression. The group serves as an advocate and resource dedicated to the ongoing exploration of the LGBTQIA experience inside and outside of the classroom through campus programming, education, consultation and support.
