On Wednesday, June 3, Baruch College will celebrate the 2015 Commencement Exercises at Barclays Center. Thank you for your participation as we honor our Baruch graduates and their accomplishments on this very auspicious occasion. The ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00am.
Location and time of arrival
Faculty who are participating in the ceremonies should enter Barclays through the VIP entrance, also called the CK Entrance (Calvin Klein) located on Atlantic Avenue (pass the Starbucks on the left). Baruch student volunteers wearing Commencement shirts and directional signage will be located in the plaza area to help point you in the right direction. Make sure you bring appropriate ID and travel lightly. Barclays security will be present at the front and will wand and check your belongings before you are allowed to gain entry. Robing, and assembly for the procession, will all take place at the Calvin Klein Courtside Club.
If you are attending the ceremony, participating in the procession and will be seated on the stage, plan to arrive by 9:30 am. This will give you enough time to make your way to the Club, change into your robes and enjoy a Continental breakfast.
If you are participating as a Faculty Marshall and assisting us with Commencement, a Faculty Marshal prep meeting is scheduled for 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 21 in Newman Vertical Campus Room 2-125. Details regarding Commencement meeting location, time of arrival, robing and commencement tasks will be provided at this meeting and will also be emailed to all Marshals.
If you have already ordered your academic regalia, you may pick it up on either May 19th or May 20th between 11:00 am and 7:00 pm in the Newman Vertical Campus Multipurpose Room (NVC 1-107). Garments not picked up by Thursday, May 21st will be available in the faculty robing area located at the Calvin Klein Courtside Club at the Barclays Center.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, remember to return your cap and gown to the Robing area. Please do not return academic regalia back at the College.
If you have not ordered your attire, we will have spare regalia available onsite at the Barclays Center that can be used for the duration of the ceremony.
On behalf of the Commencement Planning Committee, we look forward to your participation at Baruch College’s 2015 Commencement Exercises.
