2016 COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES
Friday, May 27, 2016
You must file an Application for Degree form
with the Registrar's Office by Friday, March 4, 2016 to be eligible
to graduate and for your name to appear in the Commencement
program. Only an official notification from the Registrar's
Office should be accepted as a definitive statement of graduation. Receipt
of a commencement letter from Student Life does not signify that
you have fulfilled all your academic requirements and does not
indicate that you are eligible to graduate.

To order your cap and gown and guest tickets, please submit the Commencement
Student Order Form. The deadline to complete the order online is Wednesday, April 20, 2016.

You must go directly to NVC 2-125 to pay for your cap and gown, between the hours of 11:00am and 7:00pm on Monday, May 23rd and Tuesday, May 24th, 2016.
TIME & PLACE
Baruch College will hold its 2016 Commencement Exercises on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Barclays Center at 620 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn.
There will be one commencement ceremony at 4:00 p.m., with both undergraduates and graduates at the ceremony. Doors will open at 3:00 pm and the ceremony will end around 5:45 PM.
CAPS & GOWNS
Participants in the Commencement Exercises must wear appropriate
academic attire. To order academic attire, please complete the Commencement
Student Order Form.
STUDENTS: Be sure to indicate which degree you are receiving
(Undergrads - BA, BBA or BS; Grads - MA, MBA, MPA, MS, etc.).
Measure your height while wearing heels of the same height that
you will wear to the exercises. The

you choose not to attend the ceremony, you may make a
written request for a refund to email@example.com by
May 1, 2016. (Note:
requests for refunds will NOT be honored after Commencement. Any academic attire that is not picked up on the day of Commencement is returned to the manufacturer at the end of the day.)

PAYMENT: Please note that since the deadline to order online has passed, you must purchase your cap and gown in person in NVC 2-125 on one of our cap & gown distribution days (see below).
Undergrads (Bachelors): $65.00 (includes tax and late fee)
Grads (Masters): $68.00 (includes tax and late fee)
Bachelor Hood Only: $24

DISTRIBUTION: Caps and gowns will be distributed in the Newman
Vertical Campus, Multipurpose Room 1-107, on:
Monday, May 23 between 11:00 a.m. and
7:00 p.m., and on
Tuesday, May 24 between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00
Photo ID is required. These are the only hours for Cap & Gown
you cannot pick up your cap & gown during the above hours,
you may have a friend or relative do so with a note authorizing
them to receive your academic attire, along with a photocopy of your

Tickets for admission to the Commencement Exercises are limited to guests of graduates in the academic procession. You reserve your tickets using the Commencement Student Order Form. Each graduate will receive four (4) guest tickets for orders completed by the April 20, 2016 deadline. After the deadline, you may receive a reduced number of tickets. If there are extra tickets after the initial distribution has been completed, these tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis on Wednesday, May 25th, starting at 10:00 a.m.
DISTRIBUTION: Tickets will be distributed in the Newman Vertical
Campus, Multipurpose Room 1-107 on Monday, May 23 and Tuesday, May
24 during the same hours as cap & gown distribution (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.).
Photo ID is required. If you cannot pick up your tickets during
the above hours, follow the procedures described for cap & gown
2016 LEXICON YEARBOOK
The 2016 Lexicon Yearbook will be distributed to all students who have preordered the book on Monday, May 23 and Tuesday, May 24 between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. in the Newman Vertical Campus, Multipurpose Room (1-107). You can order the 2016 Lexicon Yearbook online.
