Where Innovation Happens

The School of Public Affairs' mission is to build excellence and innovation in public policy, education and research. As the only public affairs school based at a public institution in New York, we are uniquely positioned for involving ourselves with administrative and policy matters that affect the future of our city.

We live our mission by conducting research and facilitating lectures and discussions through Baruch College's School of Public Affairs' centers and programs.

Baruch Survey Research The Survey Research team specializes in careful objective survey research on policy-relevant issues at both the local and national levels.	Center for Innovation & Leadership in Government This center serves as a research, training, and resource center for government, with emphasis on New York City Government.
Center for Nonprofit Strategy & Management The mission of the Center is to improve the nonprofit sector in the New York area through education, research, and management support.	Center on Equality, Pluralism & Policy Examine the current limits on public policy to promote social justice in a society driven by racial, ethnic, cultural, and religious conflict.
New York Census Research Data Center One of nine secure facilities in the country that provide researchers with the opportunity to engage in approved projects that use the confidential microdata collected by the U.S. Census Bureau.	CUNY Institute for Demographic Research CUNY's demography cluster initiative, where scholars can gather to exchange ideas and receive the support necessary to accomplish the research agendas they establish.
