Emerging Leaders Program
Our objective is to take emerging leaders to new levels in their professional development and within their organizations through unique customized executive education programs.
Our programs are staffed by a team of energetic professionals – academic faculty and practitioners – dedicated to providing participants and sponsoring organizations with the highest standard of service. Our staff works with the sponsoring organizations to tailor programs to their needs, shaping curriculum design and delivery in a wide range of formats.
United Neighborhood Houses (UNH) + School of Public Affairs
PROFESSIONAL AND DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Objective: Prepare managers of UNH member agencies for executive directorships, CFO positions, and COO positions through case-driven interactive teaching techniques
Participants: Senior managers
Duration: 13 weeks, half-day sessions once a week including one capstone session
Teaching Areas: Introduction to settlement houses, leadership, mission development and revitalization, team building human capital utilization, communications, strategic planning, quality and outcomes assessment, fundraising, budgeting, and political analysis
Outcome: Improved dimensions of leadership and ability for neighborhood organizations to serve New York City residents and strengthen their communities
