Emerging Leaders Program

Our objective is to take emerging leaders to new levels in their professional development and within their organizations through unique customized executive education programs.

Our programs are staffed by a team of energetic professionals – academic faculty and practitioners – dedicated to providing participants and sponsoring organizations with the highest standard of service. Our staff works with the sponsoring organizations to tailor programs to their needs, shaping curriculum design and delivery in a wide range of formats.


Partnership for After School Education (PASE) + School of Public Affairs

EMERGING LEADERS IN CHILD AND YOUTH SERVICES

Objective: Improve management skills in youth development and after school practitioners in order to advance their careers in the after school field

Participants: Mid-level and senior mangers

Duration: 12 weeks, half-day sessions once a week including one capstone session

Teaching Areas: Strategic planning, advocacy, accounting and financial management, contracting with government, technology, fundraising, communications, and human resources

Outcome: Improved after school program quality in New York City through skilled and qualified program managers
