Emerging Leaders Program

Our objective is to take emerging leaders to new levels in their professional development and within their organizations through unique customized executive education programs.

Our programs are staffed by a team of energetic professionals – academic faculty and practitioners – dedicated to providing participants and sponsoring organizations with the highest standard of service. Our staff works with the sponsoring organizations to tailor programs to their needs, shaping curriculum design and delivery in a wide range of formats.


Hispanic Federation + School of Public Affairs

HISPANIC LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE

Objective: Develop leadership skills within the nonprofit sector through a blend of theory and practice

Participants: Mid-level managers

Duration:
10 weeks, full-day sessions once a week including one capstone session

Teaching Areas: Strategic thinking, strategic development, budgeting, planning, Latinos and nonprofits in America, team building, communications, fundraising, managing organizational change, performance measures and outcomes, presentation skills, and conflict resolution

Outcome: Emergence of highly trained leaders for Latino nonprofits
