Linda A. Bailey
Professor Linda A. Bailey joined School of Public Affairs at Baruch College in 2004. Her main area of research is the effect of immigration policy and immigration on U.S. workers and immigrant performance in the U.S. labor market. Her other research interests focuses on labor market differences by race and family structure. She is currently working on the effects of single parenthood in immigrant families as compared with U.S. born families. Professor Bailey completed her Ph.D. in Economics at Michigan State University, where she majored in Labor Economics, International Trade and Econometrics. She was born in Jamaica, West Indies.
