United Way NYC Junior Fellows Program
United Way of New York City (UWNYC)
Junior Fellows Program
The UWNYC Junior Fellows Program is designed to provide professionals from
New York City-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations who have two or more
years of experience in the nonprofit sector with a strong foundation in both
the theory and practice of nonprofit management. The program is intended to
assist these professionals in the development of their own leadership style,
while giving them management tools that they can immediately use to add value
to their organizations and communities.
UWNYC Curriculum

Affairs of CUNY, one of the US News & World Report's "Best Graduate
Schools/Public Affairs programs," in a participatory fashion suitable for

program's curriculum is comprised of 10 weekly seminars on topics that
include:
- Mission, Strategy and Management in the Nonprofit Organizations
