Photography
As a Minor
Any study of the liberal arts and intellectual culture must embrace the arts, and Weissman is proud to offer photography as a Tier III minor. Our program offers students the opportunity to study with a highly accomplished and world-renowned faculty.
Photography in particular has countless applications in the professional world, from business, to law, to medicine, and beyond. This minor also provides the appropriate undergraduate preparation for advanced training in photography.
Photography may be taken as a Tier III minor. A minor in photography requires students to complete two photography courses at or above the 3000-level, and one capstone course, which is at the 4000-level or above. Students can choose to study areas including history of photography, basic or intermediate photography, digital photography, design, theory, and photojournalism.
