BCF AWARDS

Over 100 awards have been established by alumni and friends of the College and various school departments to recognize graduating students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement or have contributed significantly to student life in some way.

The Aaron Levenstein Labor Relations Award
To a student of labor relations in the Management Department who has shown the most promise.

The Aaron Zweifach Memorial Award
To a graduating senior specializing in Public Administration who has the best academic record and participated significantly in the activities of the College.

The Abraham J. Briloff Award in Business Ethics
To a student who has submitted an outstanding paper on the topic of ethics in Business.

The Alfred Iacuzzi Award in Romance Languages
To part or full-time students who were outstanding in the most advanced courses taken in French, Italian and Spanish.

The American Statistical Association Award
To the graduate student who has demonstrated proficiency in Statistics.

The Arnold Picker Excellence Award
To seniors for excellence in either of the Arts and Sciences humanities courses.

The Barry Epstein Memorial Award
To a student who has a significant involvement in student activities.

Baruch College Alumni Association Award in Arts & Sciences
To a student for outstanding efforts in the area of Arts and Sciences.

Baruch College Alumni Association Student Activities Award
To a day and an evening students for service to the College.

Baruch College Alumni Association/Honorable Richard A. Goldberg Award
To a student who, through special action, has gained recognition for himself or herself and the College Community.

Baruch College Alumni Association's Athletes-Of-The-Year Awards
To the best all-around graduating senior athletes (one male/one female).

Baruch College Alumni Association's Athletic Team Award
To the captain or co-captain of the outstanding team of any sport sponsored by Baruch College.

Baruch College Alumni Association's Graduate Award in Education
To recipients of a M.S. in Education with the highest cumulative average.

Baruch Women's Committee Award
To a senior whose record establishes his or her contribution to an understanding of racial or gender based issues.

The Benjamin Balinsky Excellence in Psychology Award
To a graduating senior majoring in Psychology for excellence in the field.

The Beta Gamma Sigma Alumni Award
To a graduating senior elected to the National Honor Society who is going on to graduate studies in Business.

The Beta Gamma Sigma Alumni of New York City Medal
To a graduating senior who has attained membership in the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society and who has qualified for this honor by reason of outstanding character, scholastic achievement, participation in college affairs, and potential for leadership.

The Beta Gamma Sigma Alumni of New York City Medal
To a graduate student who has attained membership in the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society and who has qualified for this honor by reason of outstanding character, scholastic achievement, participation in college affairs, and potential for leadership.

The Betty Schoenberger Memorial Award
To a student who has distinguished him or herself by providing help and support to fellow students.

Cecilia S. Cohen Award
To a foreign-born senior for scholarship, character and academic achievement.

Class of 1981 Award
To a graduating senior who has at least a 3.2 grade point average and a record of service and extracurricular activities.

Class of 1984 Activities Award
To two undergraduate students who have made outstanding contributions to their fellow students in a variety of extracurricular activities.

Coppola/Greenberg Law Prize
To a graduating senior who has been accepted to law school.

The David and Lillian Swerdlow Award
To graduating students who show the most promise in Theatrical Arts.

Dr. Robert Aitey Stevens Memorial Award for the Class of 1988
To a graduating senior displaying a high level of scholarship who, through leadership and vision in extracurricular activities, has successfully sought to bring students together.

Edward Rothman Award
To a graduating senior who has demonstrated excellence and scholastic achievement in the study of Law and has been accepted to law school.

Edwin and Barbara Kanner Award
To a student with an outstanding honors thesis that used a liberal arts discipline to examine a business or policy problem.

The Eisner and Lubin Scholarship Award for Graduate Studies in Accounting or Taxation
To a graduating senior majoring in Accountancy and planning to pursue graduate studies at Baruch College.

Ellis Dryer Award in Accountancy
To an outstanding graduating senior majoring in Accountancy and who is planning to attend law school.

The Excellence Award in Economics
To a top graduating senior majoring in Economics.

The Excellence Awards in Weissman School of Arts & Sciences
To graduating seniors who have achieved excellence in either of the Arts and Sciences humanities courses.

The Financial Executive Institute Academic Honor Award
To a graduate student for outstanding scholarship in either Management, Accounting or Financial Management.

The French Embassy Award
To the graduating senior who has achieved overall excellence in French.

The Graduate Service Endowment Award

The Guardian Life Actuarial Science Awards
To outstanding graduating students who has passed the actuarial exam.

The Harry Beck Memorial Award
To the MBA candidate in Accountancy or Taxation with the highest scholarship.

To a graduating senior who has attained outstanding academic excellence and achievement in the course of the student's study for the BBA degree.

International Graduate Student Service Award
To an international graduate student for outstanding service to the College.

The Ira B. Zasloff Award
To a student who has been outstanding as a leader in athletic activities sponsored by Baruch College.

Irving Greger Student Leadership Award of the Class of 1985
To undergraduate or graduate students who encouraged by their own behavior the desire to learn, teach and facilitate the development leadership skills and human relations.

The John B. Post Jr. Memorial Award in Romance Languages
To a graduating senior for excellence in Romance languages.

Joseph A. Goldstein and Jerry M. Rosenkrantz Award in Honor of David Valinsky
To the graduating senior majoring in CIS with superior achievement in statistics, who has shown the most interest and promise in the field of Marketing Research.
