WebGrade
The deadline for grade submission is 72 hours after the final exam. The WebGrade system for Spring 2008 will be available from May 16th through 11:59:59pm Sunday, June 1st, 2008. If grades are not submitted by June 1st, faculty must submit grades in-person at the Registrar's Office. Please note: While the college encourages members of the faculty to assign tasks that require students to write (and faculty to read), we nevertheless ask you to try to submit your grades as soon as possible. Summer 2008 session I, begins on June 2nd. Therefore, grade submissions by June 1st will greatly enhance the registration process and allow students to take courses in Spring for which they have completed the prerequisites in this January Intersession.
Faculty can only submit grades once. WebGrade sheets may be saved after only a few grades are added without submitting the form. This allows faculty to return to the system prior to June 1st to enter more grades. To save the GradeSheet, choose the first option at the bottom of the page. For complete instructions on this feature, click here. Once the faculty submits the completed grade sheet, they may choose to receive a copy. Copies of individual grades will be sent to each student and a copy of the grade sheet will be sent to the Registrar's office.
WebGrade is an online grading system that allows instructors to submit final grades for their courses via the Web. It can be accessed from any internet-accessible computer (PC, MAC or UNIX) using a standard Web browser (Netscape or Firefox recommended). Once the grades are submitted, they will be loaded within a few hours to the student information system (SIMS/BOSS).

You must set the password for each section. You can set each section to have the same password. You may choose to share the password with a teaching associate, lab instructor or Graduate Assistant. If you do not see your course, please contact the BCTC HelpDesk at 646-312-1010.
Please Note:Recent changes to Microsoft's Internet Explorer result in an error message when you set a course password. While BCTC works on resolving this problem, please just click on the "No" in the error message and the password will be set. We currently recommend that you use Netscape or Firefox browsers.
- Enter grades in WebGrade
(requires Step 2 above: initial course section password)

You are required to set your course section password before entering any grades for your course section; this is for security purposes. If you don't complete your grades in one session, you can save them and login to WebGrade again at a later time to complete and submit them.
