Robert DeJongh, Jr. AIA,
NCARB, NOMA, & LEED-AP is a NY-State Registered Architect with over 20 years of Construction and Design experience throughout the NY region & the Caribbean. An active member of the NYC Chapter of the American Institute of Architects & the National Organization of Minority Architects with a wide spectrum of expertise, Robert brings a diverse history of design, construction, facility management and development service work to each of his classes. Robert’s courses consolidate the realities of the real-estate industry, emergency-response, finance, building-stabilization and maintenance work both at land-based structures as well as maritime-facilities.
Since 2009 Mr. DeJongh has taught coursework including Introduction to Construction Management, Project Scheduling – I, Sustainable Construction, and Facilities Operations & Maintenance.
Mr. DeJongh received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from The Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. He has completed Graduate Work at the College of Real Estate Investment and Development at New York University.
