Profile of Stephen Soler

Mr. Soler is the Managing Director of Stockbridge Realty Advisors, LLC, a commercial real estate advisory firm focused on underwriting, financing and project management for real estate investments both domestically and abroad.

Mr. Soler was most recently a Managing Director at Societe Generale where he managed recovery and disposition of the North American commercial real estate portfolio. Prior to that position he was the President of his own company, Boulder Capital Corporation, where he advised both investors and financial institutions on both acquisition and divestiture strategies for over $2 Billion worth of commercial real estate assets for more than 15 years.

He holds an Economics Degree from University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he is a member of the Economics Department Advisory Board and attended Harvard Graduate School of Design. Since 2005 he has been an Adjunct Professor at the NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate where he teaches in the Master of Real Estate program with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development.  Additionally, and since 2002 he has taught real estate development, distressed real estate investing and market analysis as a member of the Faculty at The Steven L. Newman Real Estate Institute in the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, the business school for the City University of New York.  Currently, he is vice chair of the Nathaniel Witherell Building Committee for the Town of Greenwich, is a member of the Board of Directors for YMCA of Greenwich, is on the board of directors of Southport Mortgage Finance, LLC and is on the board of directors of RealConnex a web based real estate solution company.
