PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Tiffany & Company, 2002-Present

Consultant : Creates behavioral descriptors that supplement the organization’s performance management program by tailoring the existing competency model to specific positions. Conducts interviews and focus groups. Is involved in the development of new performance management programs and tools. Completes yearly analyses to determine the effectiveness of past and current performance management systems and prepares reports for senior management.  

Sandra Hartog & Associates, 2001-Present

Consultant : Involved in the d esign, implementation, and validation of competency-based systems and programs for employee selection, behavioral event interviewing, performance evaluation, managerial assessment, and development planning. Creates new competency models and develops behavioral descriptors to apply existing models. Conducts interviews and training programs.

Cablevision Systems Corporation, Summer 2000

Human Resource Development Specialist:   Wrote a career development manual and initiated the creation of an internal career development center, prepared performance appraisal systems, designed a communication survey, trained executives in interviewing skills, and conducted data analyses.

Adjunct Faculty: Responsible for planning, teaching, and evaluating an undergraduate course in social psychology.
Internal Consultant : As part of a graduate course, was involved in all phases of a survey project concerning employer requirements of MBA graduates. Results were used to adapt the Baruch MBA program curriculum to meet employer needs and to guide marketing attempts.

Research Assistant: Provides aid in research, including planning, implementation, and analysis of studies. Responsible for developing and implementing independent research on a variety of topics.

University of Pennsylvania , Department of Psychology, 1996-1998

Independent Researcher : Research project concerning linguistic gender stereotyping in brand names. Responsible for all aspects of the study, including: literature review, experimental design, running subjects, and data analysis.
