Jolie M.B. Terrazas

Ms. Terrazas is currently completing her second year of course work in the I/O Doctoral program. Originally from California , she received an Individualized Studies BA degree from New York University 's Gallatin Division. Before returning to graduate school, she worked as a bilingual (Spanish) teacher for high school, middle school and elementary school in Norwalk , California and Fremont , California .

Research Interests:

•  International comparative management and cross cultural psychology

•  Women and minorities in management

•  Corporate accountability and ethics

•  Eco-tourism

 

Current Research Projects:

•  Investigating selection bias against competent, Latina , Black and Asian women managers

•  Examining group dynamics among women in organizations that both accelerate and act as barriers to women's advancement

CUNY-Baruch College , Baruch Computing and Technology Center February 2005 – Present

•  Coordinate with Chief Technology Services Officer/ Chief Librarian to assess undergraduate student satisfaction with Baruch computing services

•  Communicate with the Baruch Technology Computing Center staff to receive input

•  Administer survey that will assess students' satisfaction and dissatisfaction with computing services on campus

•  Analyze data from a representative sample

•  Prepare and present research findings to CIO
