With your help our store has achieved a successful spring semester. With timely book ordering, we were able to provide the students with better service. In order to save the students money, we carried more used books on our shelves. We also price matched Amazon.com and BN.com. During our buyback, students can receive up to 50% back of what they paid for the book, when you place your order early. In addition to buyback, timely book orders help us when rental titles are chosen. Rentals save the students up to 50% of the cost vs buying the book new. Thank you.
Together, we can make the Summer and Fall 2017 semesters just as successful. The due date for submitting your book order to the store is Friday, May 26, 2017. Please note that book orders will still be accepted after the due date. However, as stated above, timely book ordering is beneficial to the students. Please bear in mind that this date is not the due date to up load the textbook list on CUNYfirst.
Ordering is a two-step process:
Kindly provide adequate time to process your request, at least 4 weeks in advance. Best practice is to submit your book order to us on or around the CUNYfirst deadline. Please note that entering textbook information in CUNYfirst does not equate to placing a book order at the store.
Listed below are the three (3) ways you can place your book order:
A. Email Natalie Veriguete at TM8065@bncollege.com.
B. Use “Faculty Enlight”: https://www.facultyenlight.com/user
This will help you in placing your order with the bookstore. The site provides the most current book information as well as pricing. You will also be utilizing this information in Step 2.
C. Drop off your order in the store.
When placing your order please provide your contact information, department, course number, and section. For the book information provide: Title, Author, Edition, Publisher and *ISBN.
*When submitting a book order please make sure that you are providing us with the correct ISBN# for the item needed. For example, the ISBN # for the book alone is different from the ISBN# for a package that may contain an access code.
Now that you have placed your book order, you can move on to the next step.
To be HEOA compliant (i.e., compliant with the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008) please update your information on the CunyFirst website: https://home.cunyfirst.cuny.edu/oam/Portal_Login1.html
*CUNYFirst FAQ: https://cunyportal.cuny.edu/loginpage/faq.html
Please follow the steps on the website; once you have completed them you are all finished.
