The final Mitsui Lunch Time Forum of the semester

Paulette Garafalo

Baruch alumna

President and CEO of Paul Stuart

“How do you manage for growth in a dynamic environment in which brand loyalty is hard to retain?”

Tuesday, May 9, 12:30-1:45, NVC 14-250

The third and last Mitsui Lunch Time Forum of the semester will be held next Tuesday, May 9 from 12:30-1:45 in the Vertical Campus, Room 14-250. The speaker is Paulette Garafalo, President and CEO of Paul Stuart, a luxury men’s apparel retailer. Paulette has managed major retail operations in Japan as well as the United States. She is a true Baruch success story with both her undergraduate and MBA degrees from Baruch. She will focus her comments on the disruption that is now occurring as on-line shopping competes with physical stores. The key question to be considered is how do you manage for growth in a dynamic environment in which brand loyalty is hard to retain.

The topic is both interesting and relevant to business in general. Moreover it will be presented by someone who is completely familiar with who we at Baruch are. Stuart is a wholly owned sub of Mitsui.

As always, thanks to the generosity of Mitsui and Co. USA, lunch will be provided. Thank you for your help in spreading the word about this event.
