From:  Angie Mendez, Store Manager, Baruch College Bookstore

Dear Faculty:

With your help our store has achieved a successful fall semester. With timely book ordering, we were able to provide the students with better service. In order to save the students money, we carried more used books on our shelves. We also price-matched Amazon.com and BN.com. During our buyback students can receive up to 50% of what they paid for the book, when you place your order early. In addition to buyback, timely book orders help us when rental titles are chosen. Rentals save the students up to 50% of the cost vs buying the book new.

Together, we can make the Winter and Spring 2017 semesters just as successful. The due date for submitting your book order the store is Friday, November 4, 2016.

Please note that this is a two-step process.

Step 1:  Ordering from the bookstore

Kindly provide adequate time to process your request, at least four weeks. Best practice is to submit your book order to us on or around the CUNYfirst deadline. Please note that entering textbook information in CUNYfirst does not equate to placing a book order at the store.

Listed below are four ways that you can place your book order.

A. Faculty Enlight: https://www.facultyenlight.com/user

By providing the most current book and price information, this site will help you in placing your order with the bookstore. (You will also be utilizing this information in Step 2.)

B.  In store.

C.  By phone:  646-312-4854

D.  Email Natalie Veriguete at TM8065@bncollege.com.

Information needed:

About the course:  When placing your order please provide your contact information, department, course number, and section.

About the book:  For the book information provide: Title, Author, Edition, Publisher, and *ISBN.

* When submitting a book order please make sure that you are providing us with the correct ISBN# for the item needed. Note:  The ISBN # for the book alone is different from the ISBN# for a package that may contain an access code.

Now that you have placed your book order, you can move on to the next step.

Step 2:  Updating your information on CUNYfirst

To be HEOA compliant please update your information on the CunyFirst website:
