Administration
As Associate Provost for Academic Administration, Barbara Lawrence works closely with the Provost, Associate Provosts, Deans and senior management at the College. She also works closely with the Dean of Faculty and Staff Relations and Central office to ensure that all academic personnel related issues for the three schools, and all programs and units that report to the Office of the Provost conform to CUNY and Baruch policies and procedures. Associate Provost Lawrence works closely with the Dean of Faculty and Staff Relations in assisting faculty with immigration issues as required for Baruch employment.
Associate Provost Lawrence oversees the office of Academic Administration. This office is responsible for all academic personnel and budget matters as well as faculty recruitment, faculty and staff workload, staff and teaching load.
Dr. Lawrence is part of the President's cabinet and serves on and chairs division and college-wide committees.
