Dear Faculty Colleagues,

 

The student course and faculty evaluations for fall 2013 will be conducted during the period November 25 – December 15, 2013. As mentioned at the last plenary meeting of the Baruch Faculty Senate, the Joint Committee on Student Evaluation of Courses and Teaching has initiated a small but significant change in one aspect of the evaluation process:

 

 

  • Beginning this semester, the default is that data will be released to the website. If a member of the faculty does not wish the data to be released, he or she will indicate that by checking that option and signing the form.

 

The Joint Committee is continuing to review potential changes to the evaluation instrument itself, but there are no changes this semester. We anticipate that the process of evaluation will be moved online for spring 2014.
