This email is being sent to all members of the Baruch College faculty.

 This reminder is sent to you at the request of the Faculty Senate and of a number of students and faculty who are distressed at the problems created when final examinations are not given during the period scheduled for those examinations. A similar reminder will be sent to students.

 To help you plan this semester’s courses, this is a reminder that the final examination period for this year extends from May 17 to May 24, 2012.

 It is especially noted that final examinations should not be given during regularly scheduled classes:  this prohibition includes the last class periods of the semester.

 Please note that the Newman Vertical Campus building is booked solid, both in the day and evening for the spring 2012 semester.  Any room change requests must be approved by your department chair, and then forwarded to the Dean's office for possible approval.
