The Bernard L. Schwartz Communication Institute presents

“Put down the red pen! Grading and commenting on student writing”

As the semester is drawing to a close, and you are preparing to grade final exams and papers, please come to our cross-disciplinary faculty roundtable on grading and responding student writing. Let us help you think through strategies to make evaluating student writing easier, more effective and less time consuming.  We will discuss minimal marking, grading rubrics, giving meaningful feedback and other tactics that help students improve their writing without overburdening their professors.

Wed, Dec 7th at 12: 30, in Sociology Anthropology conference room, VC 4249.

Refreshments will be served and adjunct faculty will be compensated at the non-teaching adjunct rate.
