Take Pride and join hands with Baruch College students, faculty and staff as we celebrate the opening of LGBT History Month. The annual Baruch Pride Parade will kick off this month’s opening event when members of the college community will participate in a Pride March through the Plaza and around the Newman Vertical Campus.  The parade is slated to begin at 12:45pm and will commence in the lobby of the NVC.  It will be followed by a keynote address by Baruch College History Professor Randolph Trumbach in NVC 2-125 and a special performance by the Soulcats

This year’s theme for LGBT History month is Redefine.  Programs for the month illustrate the progress made in “redefining” negative stereotypes often associated with members of the LGBTQIA community.  The LGBT History Month Committee look forward to celebrating with you.  For additional information and details regarding the month’s events please visit http://www.baruch.cuny.edu/studentaffairs/StudentLife/events/lgbt.htm.
