Several of you have pointed out that this year’s deadline for submission of grades (December 26) is roughly a week earlier than in recent years. Edward Adams, our Senior Registrar, has made two points that should be underscored:
- The university registrar set this date, not Mr. Adams. Please see the attached memo.
- Grades can be turned in after December 26 via our usual post-deadline submission policy: you can print the print screen of your roster, add grades to it and sign it, and either bring the result to the Registrar’s Office (H-850) or scan it and send it from your Baruch email address to Beverley.King@baruch.cuny.edu.
As Mr. Adams emphasizes each fall semester, timely receipt in his office of students’ grades makes it possible: to confer Fall 2017 degrees; to allow students who have been on probation to register for the winter and Spring 2018; to allow students taking pre-requisites courses to register for subsequent courses; and to ensure that students who depend on tuition re-imbursement plans meet their tuition payment obligation to the college.
