Baruch’s Maker Hub challenges you to design an assignment... and win $1000 in cash prizes!
All Baruch Faculty are invited to join in the 2nd Annual Maker Hub Faculty Assignment Design Challenge.
- Choose a course that you teach or are planning to teach at Baruch College.
- Create an assignment that incorporates materials and/or technology from the Maker Hub that you think would positively contribute to your course.
- Submit a 1-page description of the assignment and your learning goals and desired outcomes.
All disciplines welcome! Playing to learn, experimentation and interdisciplinary assignments encouraged.
Prizes: Three $1,000 cash prizes awarded. We hope to have winners represented from each school.
Several submissions will be invited to be part of an online archive we are creating to share with the Baruch community. These selected submissions will receive a $50 award.
Eligibility: All part-time and full-time Baruch College faculty; submissions can be made by individuals or faculty teams.
Deadline: Submissions must be received by May 5, 2017 at 5pm
