From: Ted Altschuler, Director, Baruch Performing Arts Center (BPAC)

BPAC will present the viol ensemble Sonnambula featuring the work of the little known composer Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, and her contemporaries Lully, Charpentier, and others on Thursday September 14 at 7:30 pm.  Aside from being an excellent group, this concert is relevant to curricula from the point of view of French culture, the Baroque, and emphasizes the work of a female composer of the period rarely heard.  Discounts are available for faculty, staff, and students.
