Dear Colleagues,

As the New Year ushers in new beginnings and renewed hopes for the future, we encourage you to share your aspirational stories, thought-provoking research and best practices with your CUNY colleagues. Now is the time to submit your proposal.

“Post-truth” is 2016’s international word of the year, according to the Oxford Dictionary, and is defined as “…relating to or denoting circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than appeals to emotion and personal belief.”

We urge you to reclaim the real meaning of truth through your scholarship and engaged pedagogy, to demonstrate how your work impacts the University’s collective values of diversity, equity and inclusion. Click on this link for proposal guidelines.

All the best to you and here’s to truth in 2017!

Sincerely,

Arlene Torres E-Sig SM
