CUNY-IBM WATSON COMPETITION: CALL FOR FACULTY TO SERVE AS MENTORS OR REVIEWERS
This spring, the Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs will be administering the second CUNY-IBM Watson Competition. This competition will provide students (and faculty) free access to IBM’s Bluemix services. As in the first competition, held in 2014, the competition will focus on two sectors: Higher Education Sector and New York City Government.
As the competition’s director, I have posted a short overview of this year’s competition on the competition website for more information http://www.baruch.cuny.edu/ibm-watson.
We are looking for faculty to volunteer to serve as mentors to student teams or as reviewers of students’ preliminary case statements at the Boot Camp session to be held March 18 in the Intrepid Museum.
If you are interested in serving as a mentor or a reviewer at the Boot Camp in March, contact Stan Altman or his assistant Jonelle Griffen:
- Stan Altman: firstname.lastname@example.org and cell: 917-434-9035
- Jonelle Griffen: Jonelle.email@example.com and tel: 646-660-6720.
