From: Kevin Wolff, Instructional Designer, Baruch Computing and Technology Center (BCTC)
Dear Baruch Faculty,
My name is Kevin Wolff and I am the instructional designer at BCTC. In the website below, we have included information on Blackboard and other technologies that may be helpful as you begin the spring semester. Please click this link to learn about the topics below and more: http://www.baruch.cuny.edu/bctc/intech/faculty_update.htm
· Making Courses Available - instructors must do this in order for students to see your course
· Viewing Course Roster - you can view the students enrolled in your Blackboard course
· Updating Email Addresses - you or your students may need to correct the email address listed in Blackboard
· Archiving of 2014 Courses - you can back up your 2014 courses before they are archived next month
Please be sure to look at our upcoming workshops on technologies commonly used in Baruch courses.
We also have a CUNYfirst page dedicated to Faculty. Here you will find guides on commonly used administrative functions such as verifying the attendance of your official course roster and submitting your grades.
Finally – MyInfo provides an alternative to look up your course schedule and roster, room locations and other relevant information. It is now also available as a mobile app for iPhone.
Thank you and we hope you have a great spring semester.
