Dear Summer 2014 Faculty,
The verification of attendance roster (formerly eCertification) period for Summer 2014 (session I) began today, Thursday, June 12 and will close at 11:59pm on Tuesday June 17, 2014.
During the verification of attendance roster process you are required to verify that all students listed are actually attending the class. The roster contains only students who are enrolled for the class. For your convenience, No dropped or withdrawn students are listed on the roster and the default value for the attendance radio button is “Yes, attended”. For any student, who has never attended a class and there is no documented evidence of the student’s participation in the course (such as a completed assignment), select the “No, never attended” radio button.
Verification of attendance roster is a mandatory CUNY requirement. It is vital that rosters be certified for each one of the course offerings as it affects compliance with federal regulations and students receiving financial aid.
Students attending your course who are not on your roster, should be sent to the Registrar’s office; Library Building, Room 850
You must claim your CUNYfirst account in order to submit your Spring 2014 grades, please clink on the following link to claim your account, if you have not already done so:
For instructions on verification of attendance roster go to: http//www.baruch.cuny.edu/roster or see the attached instructions.
