From: Kristy Clementina Perez, Interim SEEK Director & Program Director of the Percy E. Sutton Urban Male Leadership Program
The CUNY Black Male Initiative (BMI) was implemented within all CUNY schools, with the goal to increase, encourage, and support the inclusion and educational success of under-represented groups in higher education; in particular black and Latino males. All programs and activities of the Black Male Initiative are open to all academically eligible students, faculty and staff, without regard to race, gender, national origin.
The 2014 BMI Annual Conference will be hosted at Baruch College on October 3, 2014. The theme for the conference is: Diversity, Business, and Entrepreneurship.
We would like to welcome and invite everyone at Baruch College who might be interested in participating in the planning for this conference to share their creative thoughts and ideas. There will be meetings once a month until September, when the frequency will increase.
